Stolen
Property
- Beware of someone wanting to
sell you a CB radio, a TV or some other object at an
obviously "low price." Check out the serial number
and if you are uncertain about it, check with the police to
be sure. If there is no serial number, notify police.
- If you have purchased any item
and find that its serial number has been removed, scratched
off or painted over, let your police know about it. Tell
them the details as to whom you purchased it from, where
that person, lives, etc. There may not be anything wrong,
but your information could also lead the police to identify
a stolen property ring operating in your area.
